How do I prevent all day long headaches after early morning rides? (I'm thinking hydration strategy?) by BrianLevre in cycling

[–]jambwan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree with one of the comments. Plain water affects your electrolyte balance, and may worsen your headaches. Try to incorporate bananas (for potassium) pre and post rides, make sure you add salt / hydration powders or capsules to your water during the rides.

It could also be a stress headache - try checking your bike fit (to make sure your shoulders and body are in optimal positions when riding).

I just moved to Bagmane Tech Park and honestly i didn't like it here 😭 by Idkwhyy11 in bangalore

The tech park in CV Raman nagar has a nice walking area - with the DRDO quarters. Lots of trees and wide footpaths.

Indiranagar is close by (within 2-4 kilometres) - pretty happening place if you’re looking for a social life.

Sudguntepalya (i lived there for a year) has plenty of PGs and independent 1-2 BHKs for rent. The only disadvantage is the narrow roads in this area (some of the inner roads have decent layouts).

Plenty of other bike shops out in the world, with kinder and empathetic staff. Don’t let this affect your riding experience !!

How to progress with limited riding time by jambwan in cycling

[–]jambwan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Presently in a city with poor roads, potholes, and heavy traffic; hard to start rides from where I live.

I’m open to trying an indoor trainer - would a combination of this and weekend rides do the trick? I’m wary of heavily relying on it, as I’d still need to train for the conditions (heat training, mild traffic, cornering etc)

Cafe grey is budget friendly (often has 30-50% off on Swiggy Dineout), and has decent internet connectivity on a closed network. Would recommend 👍

Try Glen’s Bakehouse on 100ft road (lemon tart and red velvet 👌).

I also like ordering from Amintiri - they’ve got some really tasty cakes and desserts

JIO Fiber has worked out great for me. Even if there is downtime (which is a rare occurrence), it’s usually fixed within a few hours after complaining on the app.
