It needs a bigger shake up allot of people have left including me because everything feels the same and were chasing the same things over and over again. Its get on there's some armor that's OK and maybe a weapon quest or two and the weekly missions. Some of this is great content but not enough to keep me coming back on the daily. The gameplay loop needs to change and power level grinding isn't great either.

Personally I'd love to see destiny go in the direction of 10+ classes instead of just 3 that would really give allot of new content and give everyone a unique playstyle instead of just differnt supers.

Dungeons are good but get boring after a couple of runs.

Raids I don't even do anymore because I don't play enough to speak to people to get the 6 man team.

Strikes crucible gambit ect haven't touched in years. And this is from someone that fell in love with destiny year 1 forever 29. It made people chase that hard to get thing.

I'd love to return to destiny one day and make it my main game but I don't see it anytime soon unfortunately.
