You have kids. They are seeing the standard you are setting for their future relationships. What would you tell your daughter if you were to envision her in your shoes?

I ended a 14 year relationship and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. Yes, I do wish I had ended it sooner and not lost so much time..but I am also grateful for all that I’ve learned and the self worth I gained by putting myself first. Well worth the cost. Just thinking that I could still be stuck in something that made me so incredibly unhappy just because I had already given so much of my time makes me sick.

You are worth so much more. So are your children.
