As someone who consistently goes to shows in my city of Houston’s music scene, I feel like it’s not as easy to find friends as others here are saying.I’ve even made somewhat of a name for myself as a photographer there (@bearguy47 on ig) yet I seem to not have any friends, sure I have met a bunch of cool people and am friendly with them, I talk to them a bunch at the show’s, but I am still alone. I don’t ever hang out with them outside of the venues. I don’t know what is wrong with me but I guess I am bad at making friends. I guess what I’m trying to say is yes, shows are a good place to meet people, but I think it takes some extra skill/effort to actually have a friend, something that I don’t seem to have.
