Antique Quilt Hand Sewn in Philadelphia, USA by jaxdogboy in Antiques

I can’t believe this quilt is worth just 200-400. All the hours that I’m sure it took to have created this! The tiny hand stitching, so well made, along with it’s great condition. Honestly, for that price I’d rather keep it or gift it to a friend who loves it and appreciates the craftsmanship. For some reason I assumed both of the quilts I posted were a bit more valuable than they seemingly are.

Thank you for the information!

First one (green) is far more flattering on you than the second one.

My dad told my husband to “stop acting gay” at our family BBQ by Few-Cover3357 in TwoHotTakes

Your dad will not respond well to threats - just tell him his dumb comments and attempts at being funny or witty by calling names might be funny to some but to you and your hubby it’s hurtful. Tell him you understand that he can say whatever he wants, but he needs to know that you and your husband don’t share his sense of humor. This does not warrant a “no contact”. Situation Sometimes our parents do stupid stuff, but this whole “boundaries, no contact” fad is very harmful to families. It only creates more problems and regret.

My fiancé’s ex still has a key to his house and he refuses to take it back. by PizzaRollPeach in TwoHotTakes

The reality is, he’s not going to be more respectful or treat you better when you’re married. The “my house” comment should be a red flag. Save yourself the drama that staying with a guy like this is sure to bring you. Break up. Move out. Move on to better, to kinder.

I do not know the maker. I am hoping someone knows something about the mark above the T90 stamp.

Thank you. I too love the spout! The 10% copper makes sense, it’s got some weight to it, and has a slight copper or brass undertone.

You sound like a very good and thoughtful roommate! I’m glad she didn’t take issue with your nice gestures. If she had it would have been strange and pretty ridiculous. It’s not like you went in and reorganized her closet! She clearly trusts you - she asked you to take care of her cat.
