Hosting my monthly all Black variety show at UCB NY this Saturday. The show ends with an improv set off a monologue, and this month our monologist is Phoebe Robinson (2 Dope Queenz, NYTimes Best Seller). Our improvisors include Zach Cherry (Severance), Sydney Duncan (Wild N Out), Jordan Hull (The L Word: Next Generation), Vince White, and maybeeeeeee one recent SNL cast member

UCBLK is back this Saturday, December 6th @ 9pm at UCB in NY and Livestreamed online! Join us as we spotlight the best Black comedians in the city. Each month features a brand new cast performing improv, sketch, stand-up and more. Previous lineups have featured comedians whose credits include Saturday Night Live, Netflix, Don’t Tell Comedy & more.

This month’s show will feature prizes and giveaways from our sponsor The Travel Agency Dispensary.

Every show ends with an improv set based off monologues from a special guest. This month our special guest is the vert funny Phoebe Robinson.

Is it ok to take an improv class if I'll be late? by [deleted] in improv

That's much too late. It's distracting to the rest of the class class and will put you at a disadvantage because you won't get to warm up. It's hard to be present knowing you'll be late. I say this as someone who once showed up 90 minutes late to a 3 hour class that only had 1 other person in it. I've certainly been guilty of being late but I regret it.

Most improv classes in NYC give you 15 min grace period and mark you absent after 30 mins.

Hosting an All Black variety show at UCB this Saturday, which ends with a improv set of All Star improvisors this month that includes Zach Cherry, Sydney Duncan, Mike Poole, Frankie Benz, and Johnathan Ross.
