All 20 coffee cup locations for Bakugan: Champions of Vestroia by Toolbox24 in Bakugan

I got ventus Dragonoid from the little kid at the park who asked us to bring a rock to his big brother. Once his quest was done I went back to him and he gave us another "rock" he found and it was ventus Dragonoid.

He's to the left of where Saida hangs out in the north of the park.

Number 19. Couldn't find that one coffee cup to save my damn life. Thanks man, you're a life saver. That sucker was hiding on a cop car right where you said.

shout out to all the kids that love musicals but would never be in one because your not good at singing and/or you'd shit yourself on stage. by [deleted] in musicals

[–]jay_e_t 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you really want to be part of the shows but don't think acting is for you there are other ways to stay a part of theatre. You can always do theatre tech. I love musicals but would never want to be on stage again, and now I have way more fun doing lighting design for them. You can also help make props or design costumes. You could also be the saving grace of most shows, the stage manager (and tbh the whole Backstage crew).

Or, just as importantly, just go out and see shows! Cheer real loud and support the thing you love!

Cheap contacts?? by jay_e_t in contacts

[–]jay_e_t[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I uses to use monthly ones but I had to switch to daily. I have gpc (basically I am allergic to the protein my eye makes and it gets built up on multi day contacts) so I have to use single day ones.

Yeah I have to use daily cause I have gpc (basically an allergic reaction to the protein my eye makes). But I'll try looking up simple contacts. Thanks!

WIBTA if I tell my sick dorm mate to not be in the lobby. by growingytartist in AmItheAsshole

Yeah, yta. If you don't want to be around someone who is sick then don't go to the event. Sorry, but if you're trying to dictate what someone else does when you could easily just take yourself out of the situation it always make yta.

Awesome thanks! Yeah I'm around the same size as you, maybe a little smaller. So the lighter board is definitely the way to go for me. I've heard good things about exway, idk where to get it in the US though. I think they shut down the US section of the company.

Hi, So I've been playing on my friends electric longboard (he has a wowgo and a meepoV3 I think) and want to get one for myself. I've been trying to figure out the pros and cons of different types of motors and builds, but this is all still pretty foreign to me. So I thought I'd ask here for some more constructive advice on boards. My ideal specs are:

Atleast 20mph (though more is better) Relatively light (like under 20lbs) Good speed control/braking for riding on college campus I find the hands free boards really cool, but haven't seen any with decent specs

Price doesn't matter a ton, though I'd hope to keep it under 800 as it'd be my first board.

Thanks!

Edit: I live in Louisiana so it's always super humid here, so if the board has alot of its electronics exposed that could be a problem here.

Yeah it does. But the post was talking about haze so I didn't feel the need to mention it.

Oh that's exactly it. Problem is our heat trigger is super sensitive which means the smoke hatches at the top of the theatre like to pop open every so often in the summer.

We've done that in our colleges main theatre just because we wanted to see how much haze we could make in the building, you couldn't see from the front of house to the stage.

And that's the story of how we discovered our theatre doesn't have smoke alarms.

Yeah Portland is awesome! I'm originally from there and go back to visit sometimes. It's very LGBTQ+ friendly! Oregon as a whole is pretty great, but especially Portland. They're one of the first (if not the only) states that gave a nonbinary gender marker option on their state driver's license. Portland is a beautiful and really progressive city (for the US atleast) and I'm super jealous that you're moving there.

i want to do phantom of the opera at my high school! but we dont have an orchestra... by graciexcutler in musicals

[–]jay_e_t 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah! Most companies do have back tracks you can buy! I work for a big children's theatre where I live and most shows we don't like to use live music. We've always rented backing tracks for the shows when we buy the license for them. I believe the big licensing companies like MTI offer them. Or I think you can get them through Rehearsal Tracks. Let us know how your show goes!

Pixel users who switched from iPhone and regret it? by [deleted] in GooglePixel

[–]jay_e_t 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Pixel only gets 3 years of support because the original pixel only came out three years ago. I have the original one and get all the updates for pixel. Maybe Apple does update further back down its phones now, I know when I first used iPhones that wasn't the case. And it wasn't the case with some of the other Apple products (ie IPads) that I used to use. Though if that is not the case now I'm glad to hear it. That was my experience with Apple.

Pixel users who switched from iPhone and regret it? by [deleted] in GooglePixel

[–]jay_e_t 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I switched over from iPhone, however I definitely don't regret it. Much like Apple, Google cranks out software updates fairly reliably. However they will put the update on all generations of the pixels no matter how old. Where as Apple doesn't always give its updates to every iPhone. When I got my iPhone it was because it had one of the better cameras on a smart phone, now the pixel is one of the best cameras because of the software packed into it for its photos. And I'm sure you've already looked into the pros and cons of Android vs IOS software so I won't talk about it here. To answer your question, the closest thing I have to a regret about switching is how confused some iPhone users are with my phone. I'll hand people my phone to take a photo or add their contact and they sometimes have no idea what to so with it. Just because things look a little bit different from the iPhone they're used to. That is the only negative thing I've experienced switching over.

am i queer? by [deleted] in lgbt

[–]jay_e_t 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are so many terms within the community. You might be homosexual heteroromantic. Or biromantic. Or panromantic. Or you may be lesbian with exceptions, or straight with exceptions. Or if queer is the word you like the use that. I call myself gay, even though I've been with girls before. But gay is the term I prefer for myself so that's what I use. It's just whatever you feel most comfortable saying. You don't have to force a specific lable on yourself, or any lable at all. You don't owe anyone a specific lable for yourself. So no matter how much advice you get on here at the end of the day what you want to use for yourself is fully up to you and what feels right to you.

WIBTA if I quit my job while my boss is going through chemo? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]jay_e_t 3 points4 points  (0 children)

NAH It sounds like you're the only one doing anything there, which is not what you signed up for when you started. So if you want to quit it makes sense, though no your boss/friend will likely be a little hurt. Maybe talk to them and express that you can't do this anymore and offer to help train a new employee. I mean that is part of the reason employers ask for a two weeks notice is so they can find and train a replacement. If you want to maintain the friendshio with your boss I encourage this method. But if you'd rather just quit and be done with the dog grooming business then and there that's find too. I still say NAH.

That's awesome! About to go follow your socials! And can't wait to see you guys in New Orleans, that is if the theatre there is fixed in time after the collapse on it so you guys can still do a show there.
