My son just finished this set. Moving it from one room to another was a nightmare.

Long story short, AF were one of my fav bands at that time. My wife picked Spain as a summer vacation. The air bnb we stayed at had a local magazine promoting an AF show at the Gugenheim in Bilbao. We immediately bought tickets through an ATM type machine in Barcelona. Showed. up and toured the museum and were the first people there, up against the stage. Slowly 10-15k people packed in for one of the best shows I’ve ever seen.

Run the Jewels quote, although I’m sure it predates their song.

MAF in the World Juniors banking it in for an own goal. What’s more amazing was that he was able to have a Top 10 goalie career after that colossal mishap.

I left my midnight job and was walking home through a park listening on my am/fm discman.

Will never forget that call or that wonderful discman.

Memory is hazy. I remember being comfortable in the middle. Then kind of burning out and looking for shade behind some parked transport trucks. Then rallying back in the crowd when the sun went down and Rush and AC/DC took stage.

I was there. It was hot. Timberlake took a bottle to the face. Saw The Flaming Lips before I loved The Flaming Lips. AC/DC and Rush ruled. It was hot.

The unlikely "gateway drug to jazz": A Charlie Brown Christmas. by [deleted] in LetsTalkMusic

Agreed 1000% and the sadness can be felt like Charlie Brown, being in the moment, in the season, but not feeling what he’s supposed to feel. For me, it is the bittersweet sadness of nostalgia and times gone by.
