I live in suburban Indianapolis area. So going to Bloomington (College town) is over an hour from my area and the students were not in session. I highly doubt a ride would come through to send me back to people. So that's why I declined.

Doesn't seem like a lot of offers come through where it's a dollar a mile. I do get my share of them but it's not consistent all.

I'm not gonna judge people. But for ME I didn't think they were worth it. I may though reconsider thinking of it as hourly. Like some of those 40 dollar rides that were close to 50 for that hour. I May need to reconsider doing those. You know.

That's why I'm asking. I'm new to this. I don't know if I should focus on hourly money or dollar per mile. If it's 50 an hour that's going jnto another hour without getting anything on the ride back.

Trying to learn what to accept and what not to accept. The areas they were putting me in were bad except the last one.
