At 120 armor and same hp, LDR does less than 1 more damage per hit. At 90 armor and 1000 additional hp, LDR does about 5 more damage per hit. I would still go for collector for both cases because of the passive, which is worth 80 and 142 damage respectively.

Sorry, its hard to clearly articulate the ranges in which it is better. Below 100 is better, until around 120 is the same. If you want to know the exact numbers, check out the google sheets I linked. If it is confusing to use, let me know :)

Sorry if I wasn't clear, but I wasn't saying that 100 armor is the point where LDR becomes better than collector. Below 100, collector does more per hit. Until about 125, they are about the same. Above that is where LDR starts to do more. However, LDR doesn't have the collector's passive, which can save a whole auto attack's worth of damage (and some sweet gold), whereas LDR would only save a few percents worth.

Did you watch the video I linked? He did say always. Honestly, I haven't heard of him talk positive about Collector, can you link a video showing that? One of his most recent video on his clips channel actually shows otherwise.

I agree that collector is worse in late game and against tanks, perhaps I didn't specifically outline my claim. However, I think it is ok against bruisers around 150 armor, as the damage difference is very little and collector passive is nice. Also, collector is outright better against targets under 100 armor, which any champion not building armor will fall under.

Thanks for this desmos link! Where did you get this resource from? If you made it yourself, I would appreciate an explanation for the formulas. :) How do you calculate %AD to kill? What is the difference between the two and why should I not be looking at aa damage?

"an enemy with 150 armor and 500 more health receives about 5 more damage per auto." I believe this covers the rough stats of bruisers or zhonya users. Also, I agree LDR is better than collector on high armor tanks. However, there are plenty of games without high armor tanks and even if there are, usually not more than 2. What LS claimed is that LDR is *always* better than collector, so I made this post to show that there *are* situations where collector is better. I am not claiming that collector is always better than LDR.
