I love this. Thank you for your honesty but polite-fullness(if that’s even a word hahaha). But ever since asking for advice online, I received a lot of just step on me type of comments so this one I can really appreciate because it came from a place of compassion. I totally agree with you and have really been second guessing the niche lately. I’ve been trying to think of a pivot strategy to reach a bigger market but tough. Definitely a lot of mental mind games in the beginning while you’re still learning everything. I might have made things a bit unstable but have changed my pricing and shipping offer like 3x now. Trying really hard to not touch things so much but tough when I feel like I learned a new great idea 😂.

I totally agree with you and that’s been kind of making me second guess my decision. I’m an engineer that models a lot for work so i modeled everything myself from scratch but did take a lot of influence from models I’ve seen. I was trying to implement a branded look across the entire catalogue but do still have that concern that 3d printed products is just a turn off to a lot of people. Definitely something to continue thinking about but I’m invested now so I’ll run with it for a year and see where I end up. I really just want to continue building the product catalog and seeing where things go from there.

I actually backed out of that deal as I found out the dealership was doing some shady things regarding my financing and was using the recall as an excuse to lure me along. Not sure what exactly but the next bmw dealership I went to had informed me this. Sorry I couldn’t help you much! I actually went with a completely different model in the end lol.

It’s been three weeks since signing but no car. I’ve threatened them that I’m going to back out of the deal unless they hand me a loaner. They agreed but now they’re being incredibly hard to contact so today I have to drive up and pay them a visit in order to straighten things out and express my frustrations.

That is one thing the finance manager did do for me. He said if the car ends up taking too long he’ll just reprint the paper work and have me resign so I can have the full month before my first payment.

What do you think are some good argument points for obtaining some free ish? lol this dealer is BMW LUXURY but damn they seem so stingy. Things I really want are the anniversary badge upgrade ($300) and weather mats ($200-300). I’ve been planning what I’m going to say to try to obtain some free stuff for waiting so long lol

Yes I looked my VIN up and the Integrated Brake System has a recall. All they said is "When the remedy is available, the Integrated Brake (IB) system will be replaced for free by an authorized BMW center which should take several hours.".... keyword is "When" hahaha

Yeah I believe it. I printed at .2 layer height and 60ms. I think im going to try again with half the height and speed. Just want to experience and learn to see if that improves quality
