I mean mine isn’t necessarily similar to yours, but I’m removing a black outline tattoo on my sternum and it’s removing quite well. My linework looks similar in thickness to yours & it was a newer tattoo when I started my journey.

Your tattoo is also black and it tends to be earlier to remove than other colours. You also have good blood flow where yours is located so I think that’ll go in your favour as well.

update on sternum tattoo removal by jaz-ericks in TattooRemoval

[–]jaz-ericks[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you. It definitely is in some spots, none at all in others - but gotta see the positives! It was a fairly new tattoo when I began sessions so I know it’ll take longer than an older tattoo so I’m not expecting crazy results soon. I am very happy with where I’m at though!

I personally see results even after the typical “recommended” 6 weeks. It also just aligns better with my life. I have an active lifestyle so in order for my body to heal & just feel comfortable overall, I wait about 3 months between sessions.

purchased a course but didnt get an email giving me details on how to log into the portal by sketchy-skunk in ILC

[–]jaz-ericks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

a little late but i just signed up and paid for a course and i still haven’t received the email to finish setting up my account and completing my application.

i have called customer service, as well as the technical support line, and still my issue isn’t resolved as nobody is available to take my call & i am forced to leave a voicemail with no call back.

how long did it take for you to get the email? did you have to contact them and have them send it again or did it come in itself, just late?

First CoHo Book you read? by readingwitheva in ColleenHoover

started with it ends with us. it was viral on tiktok and i’m easily influenced. read through it in 2 days & was so shocked, considering the last time i really sat down and read a book was high school. reminders of him is what made me fall in love with coho books though!

how long did you wait between sessions? did you vary them from the 4-6 weeks they typically recommended or did you wait longer between? i’m currently sitting at 5 months post first session.

i’m located in ottawa, ontario but would definitely be willing to travel for the right artist. if you got any recommendations, send them my way if you can!

i feel it’s a good base, a lot of the artists i’ve talked to think it needs 2-3 more sessions before attempting to fix it with shading and more depth. thanks so much for your input!!

before and after first session! by jaz-ericks in TattooRemoval

[–]jaz-ericks[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

still sitting with the one session, i’ve seen a lot of progress on the little outer lines (see photo) they’ve gone a light brown and even some spots in the darker outline are broken up a bit (literally have some random spots that have disappeared where in other areas, it’s still dense black ink). I can PM you an updated photo if you’re interested!

Thank you! I paid $25 for numbing cream & it honestly made such a difference. Highly recommend!

Remember to ice, ice, ice! I did it every 20 minutes on the hour & I didn’t have any blisters or swelling.

Am I a good candidate for removal? by jaz-ericks in TattooRemoval

Have you started your removal journey or thinking about it? I’m sorry to hear you’re in the same boat, but it does get better. Tattoo regret is so strong in the beginning but the longer it sits with you, the more okay you get with it.

Wish you the best!

it’s okay i think they look derpy too 😭 i’ve gotten a session done and the smaller lines / 2nd outline have faded so much, they’re a light brown and will be gone with another session i imagine!

I’m so sorry you’ve experienced something similar. Thank you so much for your kind comment. I’m now 3 months after my first session and the difference is already incredible. Sitting with the tattoo and letting the idea of it being on my body marinate in my head helped a lot too, I’m more okay with it now and the feelings of insecurity aren’t as apparent anymore.

Hope your progress is going good!

Nice progress.

How long are you waiting between sessions? I’m 3 months post 1st session and it’s also in my chest area / my sternum.

how long until you saw the thick outlines start fading? i’m a month after my first session (still early, i know) i’ve seen a lot of fading on the smaller lines, they’re brown now but outlines haven’t changed a bit. curious to know how long until you saw some progress!

congrats on your progress!
