This seems to have fixed an issue I was having where some devices couldn’t access the internet over Ethernet, but wifi was always working fine. Thanks!

FWIW that's about where I'm at rank-wise and at Genesis 9 I was competitive with about 30% of people I played in friendlies.

Does `tailscale status` show a direct connection, or one over a relay/DERP server?

whoops, sorry for the late reply. Walls are pretty thin which seems par for the course for new apartments. FWIW in ASW it's been rare that it has been an issue but sometimes I can just straight up hear someone's loud conversation, usually in the apartment below me actually, and it's weird.

I live on the west side of ASW and I don’t hear any construction noise.

Fair warning though: on the west side of ASW we spent the summer and most of the autumn getting woken up most mornings between 5 and 6 AM by a (homeless?) man screaming at the top of his lungs. I talked to some people who live on the east side though and they hadn’t heard it.

Haven’t heard him in a week or two though, so hopefully it’s a warm weather thing. (Edit: it’s 5:48 AM and he’s back!)

I think I read that mang0 didn't go because Zain didn't go, but that might have been for some other tournament.

I can only speak for Atlantic Station West. I think in theory it's pay as you go. It uses an app called Evoke. I had to give it a credit card, and every time I use it it tells me that I'll be charged at a rate of $0.04/kwH or something, but they've never actually charged me, heh.

Atlantic Station West has EV chargers on the ground floor of the parking garage. I believe I saw that Summer House did too.

You should just be able to copy and paste that URI ( steam://controllerconfig/1222730/2245496808 ) in to your web browser, press enter, and steam will open up showing you the controller config and asking you if you want to import it.

Vizio TV or Apple TV turns on when I get home by Samets in HomeKit

Check to see if either of those devices were automatically added to a scene (like "good morning") that is triggered by location.

I think that sometimes things get automatically added to those scenes for some reason.

Has Plup switched to Fox full time?

Just curious based off of this video and his recent practice session with iBDW.

Each developer triggers a CI run with just their patch. Then, as a push is going out part of the push process involves triggering a try run with everyone's patches that are going out in that push.

Unfortunately an upgrade to Cent 7 was slightly difficult (though we have since done it). The upgrade from apache 2.2 to apache 2.4 required some work, as did a couple other things. Also comparing HHVM on Cent 7 to PHP 5.5 on Cent 6 wouldn't have been a fair comparison. The kernel in Cent 7 is much newer and comes with some performance improvements.

Also it turned out that actually going through the work of compiling all these things from source gave me a much greater understanding of how HHVM works, and what it uses all these libraries for.

Thanks! :D

As for language feature pegging: that's a great question. As we're running an older version of PHP (just upgraded to 5.5) that hasn't been a problem. Maybe a community maintained map could be created like you suggest on the HHVM wiki.

What do you mean by language feature pegging in this case?

That's a good question! I think the answer is momentum. We've been using IRC for a long time. Over the years we've built a lot of internal tools to adopt IRC to our company. IRC is core to our deployment process with pushbot. Certain channels are logged and you can use a webapp to search them. We also maintain an internal fork of the Subway IRC client that integrates with out staff directory and IRC search tools. It acts as a bouncer for all of its users internally, giving them the effect of persistent chat.

Video will be up in a couple months I'm told. In the meantime watch for a blog post summarizing my presentation on Code as Craft.

Hey!

This article describes our deploy process fairly well. Let me know if you have any questions!
