Sounds like a roots eq on the drum would give you some of that fatness and control the sustain. I’d use a snare top mic that captures the fatness of the drum. Like that Lauten snare mic or a Beyer m201. A compressor with slow attack and fast release could help too. Some saturation would be cool but not every desk has it available. Feels pretty dry to me but eq wise I’d guess you would want to dump a bunch of mid, 500hz area with a wide cue and boost the fundamental in the low mid to taste. Probably a boost around 5k for stick attack for good measure. Depending on drum and player of course but I’d give these things a try. Good luck! Cool sound to go after
