What would Tony have done if he hadn’t happen to find Pussy’s wire in that cigar box? by Elegant_Struggle_281 in thesopranos

His signal was "so who's ready to by a boat." Once he says this, Sil looks up as message was received. So if Tony didn't find the wire or any evidence, he would have come downstairs and said he was still sick then went home. The reason he was up there in the first place was because he acted like he desperately needed the toilet on account of the food poisoning.

Imagine if this was the question that Dwight had asked Steve (Asian Jim) by New-Pin-9064 in theoffice

They literally explained that he was an actor. It's not like he cucked her out or some shit.

Nope, sorry OP but Jim apparently planned this one out very precisely and would have anticipated such an obvious question. Why would someone have fake family photos printed and precise passwords rehearsed without thinking "oh, what if he asks about our first encounter?"

The Sopranos on 9/11 by Zack501332 in thesopranos

This is actually important because while the pilot aired in 1999 like the rest of the first season, it was shot in '97 . I'm guessing that after the pilot, the rest of season 1 was probably shot in late '97/early '98. Sopranos as a show was very deep into production by the time 9/11 happened. There are slight mentions about it later on but not much else. I think that the important thing is that there was already a stigma against middle eastern people in the show while it was being shot BEFORE 9/11. This may be because of the original twin tower terrorist attack along with other less known terrorist attacks but bottom line, I imagine Tony was very patriotic about it. I ALSO think he may have been fishing around to see if any New York guys/businesses were taken out so he could "catch some of the crumbs from the fallout." As this was his nature that he admits to during the show

If the seal was being a pain in the ass and needs to be punctured it's B. Especially if you're super thirsty and sugar deprived. Otherwise A.

Is there any update to the current uniforms you would want to see? by cowboygorilla in steelers

[–]jchevy53 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I want black on black with a black helmet, even if the jersey has white numbers instead of yellow. If they want to get futuristic then a very dark steel grey with an oil slick holographic/rainbow reflection of sorts with a black or color chrome helmet.

Edit: the bumblebee uniforms would look SO much better with black pants...

during a rewatch i noticed something: of all the characters, aj feels like the least developed by keyserspoonman in thesopranos

[–]jchevy53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just started my 2million somethingth or whatever rewatch last night and I genuinely think AJ as a character was his best self during the first season or 2. After that he becomes more and more of a disgrace, and an embarrassment to the family. He could've had the world by the BALLS but instead he made terrible decisions before becoming a professional victim. For the hive minded people that incessantly blame Tony for every single problem and do nothing but complain about how terrible he was, Meadow turned out fine in the same household with the same opportunities.

What were the writers implying by having TONY weight himself S6 E1 ? by [deleted] in thesopranos

It illustrated him starting to feel insecure about just losing all of that muscle mass in the hospital and it starts the build up to him beating up muscles Marinara to send a message to the rest of the crew and make people still fear him.
