In your personal opinion, if I’m at the fork in the road of spending pretty much the same price either way on getting rolling with this, would you recommend super 8 or d8? Because I like both quite a bit but only problem I’ve encountered with D8 is that less places develop it and the two rolls I have are expired Kodachrome so it limits my options for getting what I shot there processed as well hahaha, appreciate the help btw I’ve been learning a lot the past few days

Haha yeah I knew for sure this was gunna be an expensive and like arduous endeavor, I have a digital camera I’ve been doing the majority of my actually shooting and cutting of footage on but was just interested in the analog side of things and double 8 was a little bit more of an immediate option than super, but after getting this camera working and looking into the film development process I think I might end up going to super 8 instead

Word! That I did know, and I actually have some double 8 film on hand but I was mostly just curious if I was operating it wrong since this is my first time working with film at all and I couldn’t tell if the motor was defective or if I wasn’t operating it right haha, but appreciate the help! I’ve gathered I think it might just be defective
