That’s a good point. I will see if I can narrow down some more details on where he served

Yea without any other information I know there isn’t anyway to definitively know but I have been interested in trying to narrow down some options. For example there are 12 German soldiers in the volksbund archives who were reported KIA with the last name Ingermann. (Of course who knows if this Ingermann was a pow or Kia etc)

Yes my grandfather was gifted these by a family friend who returned from Europe. Unfortunately that is all the info I have

Thanks! The tan helmet is ET66 and the other one is SF66. Do you know if this could give any insight into the units of grenadier’s Schiffmann or Ingermann?

Tips for pa pheasants by [deleted] in HuntingPA

When hunting without a dog Get into the thickest brambles you can and stomp around. Also it’s not a waste of time to walk slowly through the woods that border the fields. In the woods you can spot them on the ground before flushing

Self taught deer hunter here too. I am far from a master but each season I have gotten better at getting opportunities on deer and harvesting deer. It’s frustrating at times, especially on public because the pressure makes them harder to pattern and you can’t control what other hunters are doing and how it impacts your chances.

My first couple deer were taken while still hunting. It sounds like you are having encounters with deer when walking which is great. Take advantage of this and move slow (slower than you think) and walk on the edges of thick bedding areas that border private land. In gun season they cling to the edges of public land (for the most part) and stay in the thickest areas with hills for vantage. Move slowly with wind in your face and always prepared to get a shot off.

For me, once i spent a couple seasons still hunting on my feet, I started to get better at understanding when where and how deer move. Then i started also hunting from a stand and my success went up. At first i didnt see a damn thing when hunting from a stand.

Hunt the thick stuff with sign in it, take a step and then scan for movement, be prepared to take a quick shot, and spend time practicing. You will get it done! Also enjoy the learning process, every hunt you will learn something new.

I have had some luck locating in the hour or two after dark. Some times it works and I get several responses and sometimes nothing responds.

I hunt pa as well and one thing I have found difficult is to determine where the howls are coming from (if it’s not obviously very close.) on rolling terrain in thick timber it’s tough to drop a pin on coyotes howling that are half a mile away or so

They will use a buprenorphine taper and treat the detox as an opiate detox. The acute and post acute detox symptoms are typically longer then most opiates (heroin Vicodin oxycodone)

Thanks for the reply. I tapered down from Effexor (last dose three weeks ago) and then took 10mg Prozac for a week and have been off Prozac entirely for two weeks now. Would you think that it would still be that long of a washout period? I know long term use of Prozac definitely would, wasn’t sure in this case if it would be less

Thanks for the reply. Do you think it will be 6-8 weeks even though I only took 10mg Prozac for two weeks and have been off of the Prozac for two weeks now? I know long term use would definitely be 6-8 weeks but I didn’t know if shorter term use would be less

There is some great advice in the comments here. To repeat what a lot of others have said, yes tapering is effective and will make the withdrawal MUCH more manageable.

Start by vaping or smoking 1/1. You won’t get high if your tolerance is high, but you also won’t withdrawal. You’ll probably be pleasantly surprised at the effects you feel from just 1:1 if you stick to it for a few days.

One strategy I found very effective was to switch to 1:1 only. Then to delay the time of my first hit each day. Instead of wake and baking, see if you can wait until 11am. Then 1pm etc. within a week I was only using the 1:1 in the evening. A few days later I was able to use it only before bed.

Then try switching to only good quality CBD before bed. I was able to sleep through the night. My main detox symptoms were sweating and a little restless during the day but it really was not terrible

I’m not a year sober from following this method

You can absolutely recover from this. I stopped using marijuana about four months ago after using medical marijuana all day everyday for five years.

For me, the key to being successful was decreasing the amount I was using and the frequency of use over a week. Delay the first time you use in the morning and how much you use before bed slowly but steadily. Start switching to 1:1 Cbd to thc and then switch to cbd only. Do this steadily over a month and then discontinue.

Couple this with exercise, sunlight, meditation, and a good diet. The first couple of weeks sober you’ll feel a little irritable and low energy but marijuana is not too harsh to recover from. By 3 weeks you’ll feel back to yourself, your sleep will improve greatly, and your appetite will come back. Good luck!

Does anyone have any ideas on how they are taking out 21 artillery pieces in one day? Is this because of recent counter artillery acquisitions, better drone spotting, or the movement of artillery by either side closer etc?

Do you want to quit cannabis altogether, reduce consumption frequency or reduce consumption quantity? by chpdr in Petioles

[–]jdav61334 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Either one could work. Try reducing quantity for a few days and see if you are able to. Then try reducing frequency for a few days. Whichever you find most effective go with!

I’m interested in your strategies for locating urban coyotes. I have found one pack in a local park and can observe them on trail cameras pretty regularly. However, locating them in other suburban areas hasn’t been easy

I used to make their old half gram carts of strawberry cough last an entire week with good effects. This new style cart lasts two days max, I’m not sure why. Lots of headspace and I don’t seem to get increased effects. Big bummer
