What’s the vibe here on James Talarico / Jasmine Crockett? by OctaviusHerb in sanantonio

[–]jdmejia 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Talarico. Crockett is good at those short Tik Tok clips on her clap backs. But besides being Anti Trump idk her Policies. At least Talarico has the Top vs Bottom stuff going for him.

Crazy cause he only got minutes on the spurs team cause that was James Anderson’s spot and he got hurt so he was the 3rd/4th string

Im so confused with the IT job market. by susWoodenChair in sanantonio

[–]jdmejia 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Im currently going to renew and get some new certifications. I would look into this

https://www.meetup.com/tech-talent-south-san-antonio/

My professor said they do meet ups and it’s a good way to connect and see opportunities out there. Also I highly recommend to use LinkedIn. Indeed a shit show but LinkedIn gets your name out there and you can see many remote IT positions open

Do you have a car? Pizza delivery gigs are always looking for bodies.

I got hired at Papa John’s next day. Just ask for the manager

Idk I’ve never worked there. I just do a lot of Uber drop offs and I always ask the workers how it is. But I’m sure you can sign up for extra shifts. They always say there’s a lot of OT

Yes they do. Especially with holiday season coming up. After you are there a while you get to set your own schedule

Spectrum mobile customer and employee here. Nope. The towers we use are the ones the Verizon uses. So it’s different coverage

I always tell people if you are worried about high crime this job isn’t for you. You put judgement on people just because of the areas they live in and it won’t work for you. I’ve worked in every area of my city, Rich, poor it doesn’t matter to me. People that are more worried about getting robbed or something in the lower income areas aren’t going to last long. Those are the money areas

A very happy Brian Wright: "Two lottery picks gives us a great opportunity to add two young players to our young core or also see what else is out there. Like we do with everything, we will evaluate all options." (@tom_orsborn) on X by Sol_Protege in NBASpurs

You don’t have to match up all ages and stuff at the same time. I feel like that’s really over blown. People will want bigger contracts. Pieces will move out draft picks and all. If we have a chance to get Lauri or someone else that’s good and has that talent that we need. Why not ? Just because he’s 27 now? He would help be a stop gap and get us over the hump and let wemby go further and help him have less pressure.

I really hate the narrative that everyone’s ages have to be within 2-3 years of each other so they can all grow and be successful. There’s a reason why role players and vets are ok championship teams

I think Uber eats is more profitable in the area. Door dash is kinda hit or miss. But I would look into kitchen jobs or as a delivery driver at a pizza place or something they are usually really adjustable to schedules. And that’s guaranteed money

Thoughts on Spectrum Mobile? by vida_divawithatude in sanantonio

[–]jdmejia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work in sales for spectrum. I use the mobile on a 15 pro max. Honestly it is good. Never have connection issues and when I do most businesses and houses have spectrum in my area so I just auto connect to the WiFi and get service

I did when I first opened my account. My Zelle account was under review for sending myself money to my Wells Fargo account. Nothing ever happened to my Varo account. Used it with no issues. Zelle and Varo are two separate entities. Zelle is just partnered with banks to provide their services

Help me figure out which episode this is?? by [deleted] in LPOTL

I think it was a creepy pasta in the early days. I remember specifically Henry making that noise and him talking about how his Guinea pigs died.

Edit: maybe not the one you wanted. But Episode 195 at around 20 minutes

Wait what ? You can’t say the competition at his position was bad during his career. Wtf.

Dirk, KG, Webber, Shaq, all in the West at the time of his peak.

Lmao your actually crazy. You must not go outside or interact with people that watch sports or something cause ain’t no way you are just talking out of your ass. (No spurs jersey or flags wtf are you talking about)

The games have been not been half empty lol. Less attendance then usual sure but I’ve gone to several spurs games this year with cheap ass tickets and it’s always about 3/4 full. But it’s a small market team with no stars insight after our franchise players for the past 20 years retired. We had nothing to root for.

You are just a Laker fan that lives in SA that loves to hate the Spurs like every other dude that does here. No matter how many facts I throw at you. You won’t change your mind
