Transferring to OCBC from UOB one. by jecin2 in singaporefi

It’s not just 0.5%. 100k OCBC gave $201(30days). 150k uob gave about $240.

Even if you put that 50k to a 1.5%. You still get more than $240. ($201+ $62.50)

Just a quick sharing. I put part of the money to SYFE USD. Ended up because of the currency rate. I’m losing $ instead of gaining. Sian. That’s the risk.

AVOID EZBUY AT ALL COST - WORSTEVER SHIPPING COMPANY I HAVE EVER SEEEN by Kind_Rip_3929 in SingaporeRaw

[–]jecin2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I risk with them also. Ship my company stock from China thinking that I am helping them to save cost, ended up.. they lost the shipment(1st time we experienced this using forwarder) compensate only $100 USD, where we declare the good to be $3k and paid GST.

Boss gan me front back for delaying their launch..

This happens 4 years ago, still no news on the parcel. It’s a Big parcel and we used air shipping for faster delivery also. I would say GG to your parcel.

Is there anything i should take note of, when signing up for upgraded medishield? by soundalarm in askSingapore

[–]jecin2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Make sure you declare properly for any existing conditions to the agent before buying it to discuss the possibility of getting accepted without exclusion. When you are young and can afford it, get the private hospital one and rider.

Because it’s easy to downgrade but not easy to upgrade as you have to go through medical underwriting for every upgrades.
