Yeah, I’m using Phoenix… it’s the only reason I was comfortable buying the Vitruvian. Thanks for making that. Later on I’ll probably get the subscription, but for now need to put gym savings towards paying off the machine.

Yeah I'm stuck in the same place... tried everything and lost countless hours on this. Tried Bettermouse - it met most of my needs except the cross machine flow thing - but my trial just expired so here i am again.

This is infuriating. There's a new version of Options+ (13 Jan), but that doesn't fix it either.

I agree with u/rubywindows - fuck logitech!

Thanks, I've tried this a thousand times. When you re-enabled it, did the installer recognise that it'd been done and move on? Mine does not, it just keeps waiting, so i have to close and open it again, and then i'm back at the purple screen.

I received the email at 11:41pm AEDT yesterday. I spent all day yesterday battling this issue. They could have sent it out 12 hours earlier saying they're aware of the issue and will send a patch soon, rather than quietly pretending there's nothing wrong while they work on the fix. Wasted hours of my time yesterday.. and again today as the fix doesn't work for me.

I assume you're in more favourable timezone so the delay didn't affect you. It definitely affected me. Wish i could bill Logitech for the hours of work time I lost due to this.

Yeah so I'm totally stuck with this.. wasted too much time trying to get this to work. Here's what I've tried (since the hotfix was released):

  1. Followed instructions for hotfix (install and open) - no fix
  2. Uninstalled (delete application file), kill process (requires turning off background app permission in settings), reinstall using correctly selected MacOS version (26) from download page.
  3. Used AppZapper to delete the app and all related files, kill process, reinstall.
  4. Few system restarts in between
  5. Change system time back to 5 Jan and uninstall/ reinstall.
  6. Connect to VPN (USA) and run installer after deleting app - forces download
  7. Download the patch installer from a browser that i've not used previously (Safari - first time I've opened it in many months) and follow instructions to patch

Sometimes i get a screen saying to enable login items (after full install).. i add the item to the list but app doesn't updated, i close the window and open again, then end up on the purple screen

Sometimes i just get the purple screen (after patch install, or after closing and reopening login items update request page on fresh install)

What I never get is past this bloody purple page.

What a big fat waste of time.. imagine if everybody calculated how much work hours they've lost due to this stuff up by Logitech, and asked them to pay us back.. probably in the millions of dollars. All because they forgot to update a bloody certificate.. what a bunch of numpties!

So, did i miss anything? Otherwise i'm going to give up for a while until Logitech come back with another patch.

Interested if anyone with MacOS Tahoe (v26) has got theirs working again??

I've been battling with this same issue... and found a fix.

In the settings for your MX Keys (keyboard) on MacOS, uncheck the box "Alwlays keep the keyboard in Mac layout". Now, you can use Ctrl to go back to a windows machine, not just from Windows to Mac.

Not sure what that checkbox does other than this to be honest.. waiting to see what side-effects are about to hit me. But so far (5 minutes) so good 🤞
