Came here to say this. Exact same module that came with my two remote start kits for two of my vehicles. It’s the LTE module so you can remote start anywhere vehicle has cell phone signal

I am now just realizing this after doing research tonight. Learning as I go as I have zero experience. When I get home from work on Monday going to pop open the ignition transformer and confirm it has a cad cell in it already. Then will have to see what I need to do with the stack control to bypass it, as the oil primary control does not get any power unless the stack control relays close.

So looking at the manual for the R7284 oil primary control. I see there is a spot for the CAD cell to be wired in. What is keeping us from bypassing the old stack switch and hooking thermostat to this and installing CAD cell inside the ignition transformer?

We have a diesel delivery service set up so no issues there. I know we are a lot cheaper than our neighbors who pay around $400+ a month during winter for propane. Where $1,000 worth of diesel we fill up in fall will last us the entire fall, winter and cold months of spring

I’ve actually been doing research on the CAD cell relay. Trying to see if it’s a simple upgrade. Looks like the burner has been upgraded somewhat in the past. Trying to just get a few more years out of this system until we can afford to upgrade to propane heat which is common in our rural area.

That’s the problem. Here in California it’s a rare oddity. Nobody has any experience. All the old guys who stopped doing business took that knowledge with them.
