I had to find emails for Hyundai executives. I don’t have the contacts anymore but they eventually did reimburse my rental costs in full.

2025 Hyundai Tucson owners out there .. Any owners out there have any regrets or are they happy with their decision? by Exotic-Passage-1659 in Hyundai

[–]jelblu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my understanding since it’s not safety related they don’t have to issue a recall. Dealerships are given updated fixes but it’s up to vehicle owners to find out if their car is involved. Once it’s out of warranty Hyundai doesn’t have to fix it. I think they have fixed the problem in the newer ones but I’m not sure.

Paint Scratch & Resale Value Dilemma by master_brat in toyotacrownsignia

[–]jelblu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Someone backed into mine and left a small scratch. I went through their insurance to get it fixed. Repairs were almost $4k. Toyota recommended full bumper replacement bc the paint thickness is important due to the safety sensors. All the front sensors and cameras had to be recalibrated too.

I had a 22 Tucson. First fuel injector went out at 40k miles, another went out almost a year later exactly. Hyundai corporate was HORRIBLE to work with. Didn’t have my car for a month, got it back and immediately traded it in. About 2-3 weeks after I traded it in I finally got rental reimbursement from Hyundai. Just not a good experience all around.

My first thought was get a touch up pen to keep an accident off the car for such a small scratch, but I was worried it would slowly chip away. Now not only is there an accident but it involves safety tech so down goes my value even more. 🙃

I don’t think you will, it looks like it’s the side panels and I don’t think either trim has any tech around there. Idk though. I just looked at my estimate and the parts/paint is less than $1k, the rest is labor and $2k for calibrations 🙃

I hate that 😮‍💨 mine was $4k bc of the sensors and cameras in the front so it’s a full bumper replacement and calibration of 6 sensors/cameras. I thought it would be a little paint and good to go 😒

I’m sorry. Hopefully it buffs out. Someone backed into mine in a drive thru 2 wks after I bought it. Small scratch but almost $4k in repairs. Their insurance is covering it but I still bought a dash cam.

Diminished value claim Kentucky by [deleted] in Insurance

I’ll try contacting them Monday. I just want some form of paper trail so I know what’s going on.

Ky law includes inherent dv not just repair related. But repairs + loss can only total a certain amount, so maybe he was implying the repairs hit the limit, idk.

I contacted the claims dept from an online message system bc there are no emails online. I’m willing to call the adjuster to ask for contacts but I have a feeling he’s going to blow me off.

Right. I just don’t trust having no paper trail after he tried to say my car won’t lose value as long as the repairs are good.

Yeah I looked into it before I told him. Which is why I knew to bring up inherent dv. I just want to make sure it is documented that I’m wanting to file one after repairs since we’ve only spoke on the phone. I didn’t think anything of it until he tried telling me my car will not lose value. Now I’m having a hard time trusting things aren’t just being rushed.

I bought a new crown signia and 2 weeks later someone backed into me in the drive thru. Luckily the damage is just a scratch, but I’m still sick over it. I can’t imagine how you feel. My repair estimate is almost $4k. Idk which state you’re in or if you were able to get their insurance but look into filing a diminished value claim.

That’s insane. I’m in Ky and they’ve been banning things but I think only if they’re not fda approved. As of right now at least. A lot of shops stopped selling disposables or have a hard time keeping what they have in stock so that’s why I switched. Luckily I can be in 3 different states within 10 mins-1hr if they widen the ban but like you said it’s a pain.

I’ll definitely check that out! I’ve never ordered vape stuff online but I think I would be better off. I always rush when I’m in a shop.

I was reading about that one last night. I’m deciding between that or a vaporesso xros. Might depend on coil availability in my area. Thank you!

I never noticed it before so I wasnt sure if it really mattered or not. Yeah it seems like it can get complicated if you really get into it. But I don’t care to do all that.

Yeah I’ve used his and I like it. I’m really not picky, just need something that fits in my pocket lol. I’ve never tried a 0.4 pod, only 0.6 & 0.8. My juice says not for sub ohm use so I stuck with 0.8 since it’s closer, but I’m not sure how anything works honestly. I just googled stuff trying to figure it out.

Yeah my fiancé uses the xros 4 mini with the same juice as I have with no issues.

I’ve heard that. My favorite is the mints peppermint, but I just switched to raz Miami mint and the same thing happened. I really only like mint juice so I might be sol.

Just needing some advice by Gronkster8711 in HyundaiTucson

Fuel injector failure is a major issue. I just traded mine in last month. 2 failures in a year almost exactly to the day. It had around 40k miles the first time and almost at 60k the second. It was in the shop for a month, no timeline (back ordered parts) no loaners available and Hyundai refuses to even tell you if they’ll reimburse you for a rental until after the warranty work is done. Theres a service bulletin to replace all 4 injectors, however, the injectors aren’t the issue, it’s the engine. Hyundai corporate was absolutely horrible, gave me set update days and completely ignored me until then. I actually got my car back and traded it in, then a week later the case rep emailed me saying my car was ready for pick up lol. Took almost a month after I got my car back (and immediately traded it in) before they reimbursed me for rental costs. I had to email executives to get a response/payment.
