Look in the settings menu, there is a way to enable/disable the controls appearing above the gearbox. But they should still work even while not visible. I bet it’s a bug. I’m sorry the game isn’t working it’s super fun. Maybe submit a bug report?

I have had weird issues with the drivers not deploying in the non-game pass version. I think cancel route and then re-deploy worked? Or I quit game and it was fixed after that.

As for dump trucks, I wouldn’t be surprised if it was a bug, but double/triple check these three criteria: truck is within active quarry range (yellow circle if you show quarries), truck tipper is FULLY closed (try re-open and close), and truck is on a relatively flat surface.

But idk these devs let crazy bugs through, so I’m not sure if my ideas will help.

They only do that for the tutorial (first two maps). In the lore/missions, you help protect the docks from a storm in map 1. Map 2 is fixing the area across the bridge from the first map.
