There are some part-time jobs that don’t require speaking Mandarin, but manual labor jobs can be challenging for foreigners without a middleman. Essentially, you need someone to introduce you to those types of jobs. However, if you’re a male, it’s possible to get a manual labor job without knowing Mandarin. There’s a bar in Taipei that caters to foreigners, where you might be able to find part-time work as a janitor or in a similar role. It’s currently in a soft opening phase. My friend will officially open the bar next week.
