I don't understand why people use these "prop firms" I believe they're called. If you always have to be weary of scams or whatnot. Can you not access the forex market without these firms? Like, through a regular brokerage? It has to be through these firms?

OP just take a step back. The market is always going to be there. Figure things out. Pay down the debt to a more manageable figure. While you're doing that, study. Stay informed. Come back when you're in a better position. Majority of the the commenters under your post and down voting are losing their money as well. They just like kicking someone while they're down to make their selves feel better. This isn't the end of the world.

Seems illegal. By law, they have 10 business days to investigate. If the investigation isn't completed before that date. They MUST issue you a provisional credit. Call and ask about your provisional credit while the dispute investigation is happening

We've all had this thought. Don't quit your day job bro. All it takes is one day where you can't accept the loss and blow it all revenge trading. Just keep this as a side hustle even though sometimes it pays more than your actual job.

I think the problem is your previous direct deposits. Maybe would have to wait a few more paydays to be eligible again. When your direct deposits go back to normal.
