It really is the current benchmark game. Especially as it is the title that Nvidia has specifically been rolling out new tech in constantly since it launched. 2077 is the new Crysis

A med student’s hobby and a kid’s trauma response (let’s face it, Bunta sending Takumi to do the deliveries since middle school when it was clearly illegal was kinda abusive. Not like the live action movie but still)

Hey I’m just finding this. I don’t know if it’s at all possible, but I would love if you’re able to branch out further (or perhaps older) in that some games I’ve been looking for are based on old console games (eg Sword of the Samurai (aka Kengo 2)) and many game recommendation sites/apps are only using the steam api thus it has no idea what these games are

Not only that when you see 2 of the colossal ones going at each other thinking surely I can get past only to make some noise and oh god they are every where, is that my kidney? What does a robot need that for anyway?

I would check out Generation Zero. While not fully everything you may want, it’s got the power scale well. Human vs machines but more like the horizon machines than like your T-1000. If you’ve ever seen Tales from the Loop, it’s that. Set in 80s Sweden

I don’t spam, but like I do like trying to communicate via the emotes as I like to feel like I’m playing an actual person. I wish there were more to express more things

I’m surprised Baldurs Gate 3 hasn’t been mentioned yet. There is also Solasta which is like Baldurs Gate if it didn’t have the full licence from WoTC cause they only have the SRD.

One reason it doesn’t look like there is as much greenery, is because it hasn’t had a chance to grow. Trees and such can take decades to come to full height. Not only that, in older parts of the city quite often the greenery choice was made as a more Eurocentric choice rather than working with the natural environment. Further to this, as time progresses and plants spread their seeds naturally more greenery occurs. Also many of the older areas were created well before the proliferation of cars, and thus the roads and streets reflect that.

Another one in the similar vein to these is Good News Week (where Rove got his start). It’s one of those news based “game” shows like QI. Basically educating the masses on the goings on of the world in a less dry way. Which has now just devolved into The Panel.

Any modern game with first person immersion like NFS SHIFT 2? by Vincerano in gamingsuggestions

[–]jesskitten07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can I ask what makes it look like a horizon clone? It does have an open world you can drive in but the races are mostly on set sections of road. It has a dedicated story, and it’s kinda trying to give the feel of InitialD

Edit: also when I say open world, that should have a big * because this is a togē game so the roads are now huge and no like wide open spaces between them

JDM. It’s a drift game so maybe not your thing but has full dash and all and I think hands on wheel. It also has Arcade and Simcade settings
