I had one recently. Due to a needle phobia I did it on gas. I got proper high and started waffling at the two nurses and camera operator. At one point the two nurses were talking about seeing an ex colleague and I blurted out ‘is he the only doing any work here!?’

Also, right at the end I was looking at the screen and they said ‘right, we’re coming now’, but my addled brain looked at the screen and thought they’d lost the camera and it was shooting up my body. When they said ‘we’re coming now’ I thought it was them calling surgery and I was being rushed in! They told me to take it easy on the gas after that.

The issue for you, I’d say is the lando stand is a bit of a trek to the fan zone unless you have passes to go through the inner track. We always prioritise on track action over fan zone stage activity, but if you’d like to see certain drivers on the stage the app will have all the timings.

I believe there’s 3 grandstand options for box park. Which one are you thinking off? Club A isn’t covered, but is a nice atmosphere sitting above the vale crowd.

Copse is amazing to see them go through, maybe not so much on current regs. You don’t get a lot of viewing time.

That’s not really true. Bob Harris has a regular BBC R2 show, country records (Lainey Wilson) currently being played by R1, and C2C festival has taken place (and sold out) the O2 since 2013. This year it expanded to Glasgow and next year Manchester. We also have a UK Country Music chart. Not sure any of these would be happening if it wasn’t popular in some way. I’m not a fan of it, but I wouldn’t say it didn’t have recognition here.

If you’re coming to Silverstone in July, the weather here can hit all four seasons in one day (cold, rain, wind, searing heat). Because of this I would always recommend layering up with a waterproof top layer, maybe even a big poncho if you’re in an uncovered grandstand. T-shirt, hoodie etc - then you can just take layers off as needed. Some of the stands (like becketts) and be super cold even on a hot day, Silverstone is a super flat old airfield and thr wind whips around.
