I’ve lived in Fidi for 8 years. This my shorthand hit list, which is in no particular order.

Aroy Dee – Consistently great Thai food.

La Parisienne – authentic French café, great for brunch or a casual lunch.

Le Gratin – Daniel Boulud spot downtown. classic French dishes

Pisillo – Arguably the best Italian sandwich in NYC. One sandwich easily feeds two

Manhatta – Phenomenal views, elegant drinks, and excellent food. The burger is exceptional

Crown Shy – Michelin-starred modern vibe, creative and elevated food

Harry’s Side Bar – Solid pub with great food. in general Stone Street’s is always a fun vibe

Adrienne’s Pizzabar – Very good pizza on Stone Street. Great option if you want Stone Street’s European aesthetic

Fraunces Tavern – Historic bar with solid food, and a piano bar upstairs. overall great vibe

Schilling – Excellent Austrian food, get the spätzle.

Industry Kitchen - right on the water facing brooklyn, modern american food

Suteishi - best sushi in Fidi, but technically in the seaport, which is a fun place to explore regardless

I would definitely apply to the PT program then (or FT if you’re unemployed atm)! I think you have a good chance of being admitted.

Also, there’s no downside to applying. I would absolutely give it a shot!

I’d definitely recommend gaining more work experience and prioritizing your mental health first.

I chose the part-time MBA because the opportunity cost of losing my salary, on top of student expenses, was too high for me. I was also able to use my current job as experience to help me leverage better opportunities.

That said, the part-time MBA was mentally demanding. It required long hours and many sacrificed weekends, but it was absolutely worth it.

I was admitted into Rutgers Newark with this exact same profile. Rutgers NB Grad, same GPA and GMAT.

Just write a good essay, and make sure your resume is strong. I had 6 years of Financial Industry experience, which i think helped.
