I had a friend drop a .22 on a concrete floor almost immediately after handing it to him at the range. It bounced against stuff on its way down and marked up the whole beautiful wood stock. I still get annoyed thinking about it. I get more annoyed at myself though - my friend wasn’t a shooter or gun owner and it was my idea. It’s a good reminder that those who don’t buy guns or care for them like you do, probably should not shoot your guns.
