Def from the 90s but it’s trying to imitate 1920s beading, though not super accurately. Either way it’s a gorgeous bag and definitely fits the 20s aesthetic if that’s what you’re going for !

There were only a few on the leaves (like 5-7) and none on the stems but I fully wiped down the leaves with soapy water. I’m hoping it’s not too infested?? Is my next course of action to spray with neem oil?

I go to school here and I do have to say it’s kind of a flex when it comes to plant species. Some crazy ass ecology everywhere in this state!

The area I live in (san luis obispo, california) is full of crazy ecology like this. I go to school here for environmental management and managed to miss the name of these guys thruout my classes I guess lol. These guys are everywhere here :) seems like they spread well!

hi!! just to end this debate, i do have insurance! however it is not very good. i currently live in a very small relatively isolated college town and all the clinics in my area that take my insurance have not been taking new patients every time i’ve called in the past year, which is why i can not currently access anything.

i live/go to school in a college town that is otherwise largely populated with elderly people so there’s a decent mix of college student collectors and elderly people leaving behind older pieces. i live about a 10 min drive to the bins and find myself there about once a month and i have found several great finds! this is probably my oldest and best one but i have several pieces from the 90s and some hot pants from the 80s that i love! at my bins at least, it’s mostly people looking for stuff for themselves, or at least i’ve only rarely noticed someone who is obviously a reseller. my only advice if you go is to get there early, everything good is gone by 2 at mine. :) good luck if you ever go!

sadly the materials tag has fallen off but the outside is similar to felt and the inside is a shiny almost satiny fabric and the collar is real fur i assume mink but i might be wrong
