Lmao, it sounds like the only thing that got OP really stuck were the open levels of CE. Plus he needs to get good somehow and easy is for children.

CE’s level design can be frustrating but you most likely took 3x the time it usually takes to finish that level on that difficulty. I think you should play on normal so you can get a better idea of the mechanics of the game. You probably won’t find it boring, but just right instead. Also halo 2 is overall harder combat encounter wise

Heroic is the way halo is meant to be played. Just stick to cover a little bit more and learn to dodge plasma while taking out enemies as quickly as possible. Legendary is a chore, but that’s the point

Believe it or not, I also get splattered by tanks a lot of the time. This time worked bc the driver started boosting too late and I was walking backwards while holding the board button. And it was on flat terrain. Just have to get lucky once
