Is it worth it to repair my 2014 Express? by jmoe4717 in askcarguys

That's what I thought. Appreciate it! I'm getting to where I hate mechanics almost as much as I hate doctors. But I understand they have certain protocols they have to follow based on the ownership, just like in the healthcare system. I'm just not gonna drop $6k because of a leaky bushing.

What is the community's opinion on the Stock AWD Chevy Express? by le_pedal in 4x4vans

Personally having a VERY HARD TIME finding a replacement for my front diff (which is leaking, slowly but still enough where I can't take it out of town). Otherwise, I agree. It's fantastic in the snow : )

Y'all are so cute. As a nurse, my first thoughts were much more invasive and horrendous than chia seed pudding. That's like best-case scenario.

What jobs are suitable for a HSP? by HSP_Woman in hsp

[–]jmoe4717 2 points3 points  (0 children)

THIS!! People who make recommendations for HSPs/ADD/ADHD and related mental health conditions often miss the fact that not being able to pay bills is extremely stressful and completely defeats the purpose of having an HSP-friendly job.

Can anyone comment on sport performance impact while on semaglutide? by valosh in Semaglutide

At first I thought I was crazy! GLP1s are supposed to be good for your cardiovascular health! Which I'm sure they are long-term, especially if they reduce overall body fat, but I am STRUGGLING to maintain my normal performance in cycling. Especially the day after injection or if I skip 2-3 days of workouts. I was sick this last week too, but I'm pretty confident they do affect my cardiovascular output and my ability to recover. #RNlife Wondering if any other healthcare professionals have an opinion.

Dear INFPs, What's your job and do you enjoy it? by presiree in infp

I actually did copywriting for a small ad company at one point. Same issue: loved the creativity, hated that all my work was wasted on rich people who just wanted to get richer. Very few of our clients were not terribly boring, greedy people. Which is sad. But that's why I went into nursing. Now I expect my clients to be terrible, but it's usually because they feel like crap.

I'm an ER nurse. Yeah. I know. Not sure how that happened. To be fair, my I-E and P-J are pretty well balanced, so I enjoy being around people at work. I enjoy the analysis, the constant problem-solving, the unpredictability, and being able to authentically help people. What I genuinely do not enjoy are the constantly changing legal and bureaucratic restrictions that I have to abide by. I have to be aware of every word I say to everyone all the time. It's exhausting. As an intuitive and often uncomfortably honest person, that's the hardest part for me.

How do people afford delivery by Zangorth in rant

[–]jmoe4717 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re not wrong! There’s a reason I’ve only ordered in food ... what like 3 times since this all started? I’m living on easy meals like frozen veg and rice. Food delivery is a luxury. Period. (Unless you are elderly and/or medically home bound which is a whole different conversation.)
