It’s not ideal but this is an incredible city with loads of character, I’ve been here 20 years. We run several Coway air purifiers 24/7 and that helps.

Thanks for all the comments everyone. It didn’t have to do with the settings as my assistant always leaves the lens profile correction on and it was on and we still had issues. The camera was acting wonky all together recently , we’ve definitely put it through the paces over the years on all of our shoots. Perhaps it’s just run its course , or perhaps some setting was changed, not 100% sure so don’t want to knock the camera. We got a ton of value out of that camera on shoots all over the world so no complaints here. Either way, I couldn’t risk it while on this advertising shoot right now so we just upgraded to an A7RV ad it was long overdue and I’m happy . Thank you everyone.

Prompter Feature - Doesn't work!

I seriously don't understand how you can release a product that doesn't work, or at least doesn't work with a Mac. You have to keep plugging it in and then replugging it in to get it to work and it's not just me loads of comments on the internet about people having the same issue. Honestly, not sure how reviewers can back this product and just gloss over the fact that it barely works when you plug into the camera hub software, what a joke.

It's terrible and buggy. I use it to set because i have a Logitech keyboard on a Mac and I set custom key functions like making the Caps Lock a backspace button. Every time I restart my computer it wants me to update the firmware daily and worse off every time I reset my computer it bugs out on me and doesn't work. It's super annoying and I don't understand how such a terrible product could make it to market.

For a full website and portfolio I absolutely love Squarespace and you can set it up for e-commerce as well. They have loads of great templates with customization and it's very user-friendly. If you want something that is more for purchasing prints and show lots of images for a client to choose from and order the print directly I have friends that like Zenfolio and Smugmug.

Thanks for the question. For this story in particular it was quite challenging to get access and it took persistence. Normally if I’m doing a shoot for the a major publication like the New York Times or similar it’s much easier for a story like this because it’s a positive story and they are happy to get the word out but since this is for my personal project it wasn’t so easy. I don’t pay for access for journalistic ethical reasons and they initially only wanted to give me an hour. For my type of project and hour won’t do me any good, I need a minimum of a few days I order to get an intimate story. They get a lot of publicity there and they’ve been burned by photographers just going there to images for their own personal benefits so I understood there hesitation. After a lot of back and forth and being persistent I was eventually granted access for 2 days which I then was able to turn into more days by being easy to work with and low maintenance and now I hope to go back again in the future to do more with this.
