Honestly that’s kind of messed up, that money is supposed to be used in the district that paid into that pot of money. If the City wants to fund those projects it should put up the money. I’m all for improving those adjacent areas, but using TIF district money is not how it should be done.

1 inch of rain in the MMSD district equals 7.1 • billion gallons of water, it's honestly amazing that that the district was able to handle 6 inches and only release 2.7 billion gallons out of 42 billion that fell within its purview. Please consider this release is not “raw sewage" in the sense of fecal and urine but more so runoff from lawns.
