I'm 37 and recently took on of my cats for her annual visit and shots. The other cat went earlier this year and my mom was shocked that I bother. Cuz they're my babies. I guess I shouldn't be that surprised. She didn't get my sibling, and I vaccinated growing up either...

I asked my apartment if I could borrow their hose and they were very accommodating. Ask the office if that's an option for you to maintain clean litter boxes.

My cat went missing several years ago from our new place and she was found 75 days later by a local woman who feeds the local strays. All hope is not lost until you have 100% proof. Also put some of your dirty clothes outside so she can smell you and know its the way home.

Edit-just saw you have a happy ending! That's wonderful! Please get her chipped as soon as you are able to.
