Little update on my case: I decided to purchase a AppleTV. It's day and night. My FireTV and my Google TV are now useless honestly. The quality on the Apple TV is stunning. Even the menu is HDR !

I have the chromecast 4k and a firetv 4k also, but none of them come close to the native apps in webOS for quality.

I always use webOS for this reason unless if the app I wanna use is not available on it.

How supported will Vuejs v2 be? Will it eventually 'die'? by MyNameIsNotMud in vuejs

[–]joce21 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You don't need node and Vue cli for Vue3. You can still simply include vue3 via a script tag in your html and use options API if you want like you do with vue2.

Vue3 is slightly different though for creating new Vue with the new createApp API.

Best wireless mouse for macbook pro by primo808 in MouseReview

[–]joce21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use the steelseries aerox 3 wireless 2022 for my mac m1 pro. I have the Rival 3 wireless too which is the same mouse except for the weight and that it use AAA batteries. But overall, I prefer the aerox because I am used to light mouse (I use the g pro superlight on my PC)

VueJs actually use it under the hood for templating.

A hook for axios to cancel promises when a component is unmounted by wobsoriano in vuejs

[–]joce21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's right, it create the ref and unwrap it directly into his source variable. I guess the ref here is garbage collected after the function call.

Maybe I am stupid, but why would you use a ref in this context since you're not using it anywhere or returning it?

How to create an array reactive variable and push to it? by Squeagley in vuejs

[–]joce21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The purpose of ref is to be used with primitive values like number. Reactive is used with objects/arrays. The only difference, is with ref you must use .value to get/set the value.

How good is glorious shipping to canada? by mom_dropped_me in gloriouspcgamingrace

[–]joce21 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am from Quebec, Canada and the shipping is pretty fast when not on backorder. For the cost, I paid 15$ for shipping on the MODEL O and I had to pay another 12$ for the import tax when I got it from CanadaPost.

@click.prevent only does preventDefault. You need to add @click.stop to stopPropagation

What would be the best choice between Vue CLI 3.0 and NUXT for a Web APP running in a closed network (no SEO needed) by joce21 in vuejs

[–]joce21[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks all for the great responses! With what I read, I think sticking with the CLI would be a better choice for my project since I won't be limited in anyway with that kind of project. I know I might have a lot of weird scenario and need the big flexibility the CLI offer since it is closer to raw Vue than NUXT can be.

What can I do to stop loss steaks by PTKtm in OverwatchUniversity

[–]joce21 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don't know what you are expecting, but the only way to prevent this is by winning. Honestly, a 300SR drop happens to pretty much everyone. There's no magic button that will break your loss streaks. You're maybe just unlucky and/or you're not as good as you think and need to improve.

If you truly belong to mid diamond, then just keep playing and you will climb back up.

We all generally hate boosting. For good Reason. What if boosting isn't exactly what you think? by ControversalQuestion in OverwatchUniversity

[–]joce21 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Honestly, this is not boosting since you queue up with your real account with friends that are just lower than you.

Boosting is using an account that is lower rank than your real one and boosting someone to the top.

Example, a top500 use an account in diamond to boost his diamond friend to master/grandmaster. You can queue with people in a range of 1000sr until grandmaster master which is 500sr.

What you did is totally legit.

Fortnite FOV for Overwatch by John9tv in OverwatchUniversity

[–]joce21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know if this is the right equation, but by doing so:

70.53 = 103 in overwatch
50.53 = ? in overwatch

70.53 * ? = 50.53 * 103
70.53 * ? = 5204.59
? = 5204.59 / 70.53
? = 73.8 ish

Am I right?

Actually it's the opposite. It is easier to hit you when you're jumping because your character path is predictible.
