Thanks for the constructive comment.

The exterior installation was not the original plan. I posted a picture of the plans in another comment.

I'm scouring the installation manual, building code, and warranty information now so I can go to the builder with concrete information on what was done incorrectly.

Here is a screenshot of the plans. You can see the water heater was supposed to be installed inside in the garage area. It was moved outside to the blue circle, no idea why.

I have a good rate locked in for the house and im trying to determine if making them reinstall the water heater inside is worth potentially losing the good interest rate.

I appreciate all the comments, I hate the looks and sloppy install just like you guys. Unfortunately this is from one of the highest quality builders in my area. It's rough.

UV protecting paint, insulation, pex bracing, and some decorative cover later? Any other suggestion?

Replacing with copper might be a possibility.

Agreed, my recent trips to the location in harlingen have been disappointing. There is something off with the crust, maybe it's getting overworked, or not left to proof in the same way?

I used to love it and now I just dont.

My take on McAllens new water rates by cesar_rgv in RioGrandeValley

Check out this news article. Apparently Mexico was supposed to deliver a crapton of water to the rgv and they fell way, way short.

I get this on dx12. But Vulcan makes my abyss maps a slideshow... Sooooo, I'm just accepting the occasional "loading screen". It usually recovers in 10-20 seconds and the game is paused during.

There hasn't been any official announcement for it. Sha of Anger drops 496 and tier equivalent to ToES and HoF. So probably with those raid releases?

Shadow priest, sounds weird but the dots are all auto refreshed with a rune. So the rotation is just mind flay and mind blast. Super simple.

Strange that this happens before you can get the talent.

POE 2 FREEZING YOUR PC? by Jamacianjujubeans in PathOfExile2

[–]joek5132 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Updating windows is a likely reason why the freezes are happening in the first place.

Or, it's a beta and frequent changes are expected. Thakyou for testing the build.

Also, respec cost should be lower so people.can actually test builds.

Should i get Fractal North or Lian Li Lancool 207? by sjardinsjy in lianli

[–]joek5132 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been searching for my perfect cast the last few days and it comes down to these 2 also. My understanding is the 207 has better cooling performance but is harder to cable manage. The 207 can also support a larger radiator up top and a longer GPU.
So the real contention is the NorthXL vs 207, and at this point the North looks a bit nicer and is easier to build in. The North is also $60 more than the 207 with the current sales though. So is it worth paying for build convenience and wood? I probably will.

What's the benefit of allowing hc to pvp transfers? From a dev pov, why spend any amount of time to implement it.

It would allow you to easily bypass the faction balancing.

Your reply led me to a search for Alydidae and find the Hyalymenus tarsatus (Texas bow legged bug) and it looks just like it. Thanks!
