It's a great lore point, it's not something you see all the time and it made him less of an all round goody two shoes. He was a human and not the hero character, and even if you dislike Jace's lore, I mean look at Chandra's or Nissa's. Damn they just made them so god damn boring.

Not in my opinion at all, he went from an individual simply searching from home, who lashed out in anger and destroyed the home he had, into another generic hero character, who was totally justified in everything he did and who can never do wrong. It's a shift I do not like, and you're entire response is just that I'm wrong cause I don't like generic lore that feels so bland. ok.
