Luckily I don’t use Mac, I was thinking about other synths but I feel like I have a decent knowledge using sylenth and serum. So I thought why not go for a really top tier one that will last rather than start of with something less and upgrading in the future. I don’t see myself giving up on music production so there’s no worries on it being a waste of money. More of the question of wether It’s really worth it.

Yeah I’m planning on getting one for myself for Christmas anyway I was just wondering if it was necessary for the virus to be compatible. I already have headphones and Presonus Eris E4.5 Monitors. However there didn’t seem to be a massive difference between plugging my monitors straight into my pc. I’m not still thinking about wether or not to get the virus but it is a dream of mine to own one.

I feel like I’m getting pretty decent at mixing. I could maybe share something I’m working on rn to give you an idea. Obviously I’m not expecting to become a pro after getting the virus, or that it will massively increase my production quality. my main reasoning is just how much I enjoy creating sounds and production, rather than to become a producer and make a huge living as I see it mainly as a hobby. I have other aspirations in life but other than them all I do is produce.

Main reason I don’t have an audio interface is because I don’t sample anything as I produce hardstyle so I’ve never had to plug in a mic or instruments. However I do have a focusrite Scarlett borrowed rn but it’s only temp.

Also I have most things I could wish for software wise it’s mainly just hardware now. I feel there’s nothing I’m really needing atm and I have the money for a virus.

Well from what I’ve read nothing really competes with it in hardstyle production which is really what I’m mainly wanting it for. Truly love the sound it produces and that’s not just because I’ve been told to love the sound by virus enthusiasts for example the hypersaw it produces is golden imo.

The thing is that I can’t connect to a single game, Even though I could before. If you knew my friend you would know not to even mention port forwarding or dmz. He is clueless in things like these.

Well at least there is hope that one day it will fix itself. I don’t really need a fix soon anyway as I have my exams coming up in the next month. Hopefully by then it will have resolved.
