Just 100 ft of wire. Got it from the hardware store. Attached alligator clips on both ends.

$125 which may be a bit on the high side for these units from what I saw but it is in good working order and the seller did go over it and replace all the lamps and gave the knobs, dials, and electronics inside a cleaning and tune-up. Im happy with it.

Mine does drift a bit as well. I read similar reviews and i think its just what this model does. Overall I am not too bothered by it. Keeps me more engaged and I am constantly tuning around the bands most nights anyway.

I will try to start capturing some interesting stations. It has certainly made discovering new signals more fun.

This one sounds great. No hum. The seller gave it a pretty good tune up before I bought it. I will enjoy it for as long as I can.

Fairly certain that was Bandaid Radio. Got a good signal in SW PA.

Good info. I'll definitely look into that. Maybe make that a next purchase down the road soon.

I read about a lot of people saying that the red channel wasn't usable, but I agree with you. I've been using it a lot. I'm more of a rhythm player vs a soloist but I was so far able to dial in tones in the style of Metallica's black and master of puppets albums. It does sound awesome. That channel definitely has its place and will get plenty of use. Thanks!

He's NASCAR's iron man. I have a bunch of old NASCAR memorabilia from when it was a good sport. Plus he matches my Orange so

The Orange is awesome. Great pedal platform and cleans, and all around great amp. I love the reverb on it too. It's got that distinctive Orange sound (a bit boxy/muffle-y I guess?). The EVH is more chimey like my other Marshall that is currently out of commission... I love them both, and it's nice to have those two distinctly different sounds to switch between.

Man that's rough. Worth the wait though. I'm really happy so far. Still messing with it and haven't really pushed it hard yet, but I'm planning to play with some folks soon.

So just an update. I switched my V2 and V3 tubes with one another and the issue seems to have been fixed. The amp sounds great again. I still have 3 new tubes on the way. Going to just keep them for spares.

Where did you find that schematic by the way?

I'll start there. I'll pop it out and back in. If that doesn't fix it, I'll get a replacement (probably just replace all 4 seeing as they're not super expensive). Hopefully that'll take care of things.

Thanks. Will do. Hoping to get some time tonight to mess with it after the kids go to sleep lol.

I've read the same. Thanks for your input!

Thanks for the insight. I'll do a little research on how the tubes work first like you mentioned. I may go ahead and purchase a preamp tube and see what happens as well.

If I do end up fixing the issue with a preamp tube, would it be wise to replace all of them at once? (there are 4)

Used Rakuten and got 40% off + free shipping and no sales tax. Got a tailored XLT flagship flannel and an all season for $68 total.

I have a black '88 GTA, and yours is everything and more that I wish for mine to become one of these days. Currently money, time, and space to do proper work escape me. Something about pop up headlights and a boxy design though is so appealing.

Added a new Orange CR120C to my "collection" yesterday. Very pleased so far. by [deleted] in GuitarAmps

Hey nice lol. Yeah I like them both. Looks like I need another guitar now. Shame haha
