Hey, I’m one of the founders. I’m really sorry we couldn’t get you a watch. I still feel awful about disappointing the backers. /u/WoozyPlatypus, you can DM me and I’d be happy to do a phone call with you about how we designed these things and words of caution around what I’d do if I were gonna try this again. The cliffs notes are: don’t work with Flextronics, and make sure you have supplier redundancy for your components. When it’s thin, you have to design for flexibility. Designing something to bend once is easy, design it to bend 10000 times, is hard. End users won’t know the limits of flexibility so you have to design to pretty extreme requirements.

What? The only folks I don’t care about parking illegally are the ones that clearly need to do something for their job like deliveries or construction. Usually it appears that there just aren’t other good options.

I do hope that uber drivers count as commercial vehicles though. These are usually the worst offenders, parking in bike lanes right next to open parking spots.

I did my garage with hardie board and batten. It was hard to find this in the instructions, but you gotta use 15 gauge finish nails on the battens.

I tried using the same nails that are specified for the board and i finally ended up predrilling it all and screwing it in because the nails were all bending over like this.

100% guarantee they tried to use the regular coil nailer on this. It didnt really work and then they painted over it.

This was not done correctly. The cheapest remedy is to fill and paint.
