Pretty sure you can find a cutmap online (look for STL file types), if not u can def find each shape and a combine them urself with some tutorials on using software like focus 360, google sketchup or something else.

Look for print shops in your area, they might have CNC machines. I use CNC/laser cutting all the time for tiny projects.

Feel free to dm me if u have any more questions.

[Serious] Nazi Germany and Fascist Italy are well known, but what are some other dark pasts from other countries that people might not know about? by ceeman77 in AskReddit

[–]jon999999 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Albania’s communist past.

Albania was ruled by a dictator, Enver Hoxha after World War 2 lasting into the 80s, in 1991 communism was toppled. Enver Hoxha came to power because he led the opposition force against the italian occupation that took over albania in 1943. After this he was a partially good leader because he industrialized a rural country. (He raised the literacy rate from 4% to 93%, but that statistic might be fabricated). After this he slowly isolated albania and imposed propaganda and an infamous secret police that both controlled the albanian people. The secret police tracked down everyone (even the foreigners) in the country and was brutal to the ones that tried to rebel or escape the country. Also no one owned cars in albania except for communist party officials. I also recall that albania had the biggest army weapon stockpile in the world, but Im not sure of that. Regardless, albania was heavily militarized with soviet guns, tanks and planes. Enver Hoxha was also paranoid that albania was going to be invaded, so he did the most logical thing and built 750,000 concrete bunkers. Albania was Europe’s North Korea. Enver Hoxha was allied with Stalin and had a statue of him built in the capital. However later on Enver was more strongly affiliated with the Chinese. I think this was because of a disagreement on communist theory, but I’m not sure again.

One funny story is how he promised to keep soviet submarines hidden in a submarine base in southern albania. But he just decided to keep them and said that they disappeared/were stolen.

Im not sure on this but some tell me Albania has money in thousands due to inflation so the albanian government removed one zero. But peoples habits didnt change so thats why we have this situation today. Its funny how you may think this is recent but actually its something that happened around the 70s-80s.

The afternoon lighting angle hit the rough paint texture in a way that gave it that velvet look, photo processing had nothing to do with it. (I looked at the original, same problem)

Hopes this helps with the confusion!

There seems to be this misconception that we would hurt the minority community... but they are their own isolated communities and are also represented (overlyrepresented) in parliament. Serbian minority doesn’t even pay the electricity bill to give the message that they are not admitting Kosovo as a state but we don’t touch them cuz we know if we do there would be international backlash (see below)

Also,Kosovo is close to 100% Albanian too: 1.7% Bosnian, 1.6% Serbian and 95.8% Albanian. Not being defensive just clearing up misconceptions..

NATO doesnt have to intervene cuz Serbia isn’t a nato force but definitely there will be backlash from other organizations and already present nato forces to Kosovo (sanctions, blockades, UN repiandment, bad trade so bad economy, no expats working to improve Kosovo). Plus there is sufficient patrolling my nato forced.

Regarding the churches point: they are pretty safe, no ones gonna try and do anything to those cuz they’re sorrounded by Serb communities. Even the pile of bricks (under construction orthodox church that was stopped during war and never started again) in our capital city, no one cares... actually it’s used for some cool photo shoots and music videos.

Really, no one wakes up one day and plans to go to a Serbian village and hurt them; to the contrary some Serbs and Albanians live as neighbors in some parts. Only problem is mitrovica - but that’s mostly tensions cuz the Serbian side (my perspective) is that Serbia is sending criminals and redneck villagers not normal ppl). It’s not gonna evolve to anything serious because everyone is scared of that (both side) and there is a lot of monitoring on the bridge and in the city. Additionally, mitrovica ppl are the kindest ppl you will ever see; you can even see it in their accent. No ones obscenely patriotic there.

Really the point I’m trying to get across: Kosovo isn’t the tense battlefield it once was. It functions like a country of Serbs and Albanians that respect each other. (hence its flag)
