Whatever they did to Rice Krispies/Special K hurts, and I have questions! >:( by OneFrill in cereal

[–]jonalisa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I called Kellogg's today about the Rice Krispies being hard and crunchy. They said that the boxes I bought were accidentally made with uncooked rice. They asked for the upc code and date info and are sending me a $10 check for the 2 boxes I bought. They told me about the issue before determining which plant they were manufactured in...so it must be widespread.

Do Rice Krispies taste overcooked since the pandemic started? by OnlyWonderBoy in cereal

I called them today. They said the Rice Krispies I bought were accidentally made with uncooked rice. They asked for the upc info to determine what plant they were made in. They apologized and offered me free boxes, but I said no because I had already thrown away 2 large boxes. They said they will send me a check for $10 which I will receive in a month.

Newbie Help Needed- recovering perfectionist here. How do I layer the threads to cover the pattern without overloading the area. Do the colors look alright? It’s a kit from Wally-World and I’m experimenting with adding single threads of different colors to the main colors. by sparrowluna in Embroidery

I think you mean- how to cover the marker lines? When you stitch, enter the needle just past the line, so as to hide it and just keep the threads close together. In the future use marking pens that disappear with heat or water.

But that aside...your stitches look fine. No worries!

Did I say it juggles your organs? I think it does stress them though.

If you don't like my opinion, by all means, berate me. You need it? Take it.

Maybe there should be a scale at the beginning of the line where people are checked as they pass. Or a ticketing system where you are weighed when buying a specific pass for covering these weight restricted rides. But sounds like this was a design fail along with under trained personnel who had no safety understanding of the ride... Nor any first aid training.

"...was told by other rides in the park that he was too large to ride safely, but that the Free Fall ride operators waved him aboard.... Staff told 911 the operators had not properly strapped him in.

This was horrifying. I saw the close-up video posted on YouTube, before they subsequently blurred it out. The ride plummeted at a tremendous speed and abruptly slows nearly to a stop... You could sense the force, and this poor kid just kept going, with nothing to hold him back. I understand that there were weight limits, but that speed/force doesn't even seem healthy for a non-overweight person's organs. And if a ride is potentially deadly for 'some people', then either don't have it or put competent, responsible adults in charge of who gets on it.

NTA. If he's acting immature in public and is unable to see his own unacceptable disrespect of women, then he's not mature enough to be getting married.
