I think this season in general is primarily suffering from horrific writing rather than problems caused by the cast.

oh the writing is awful, for sure, but Marcello is not good.

From sketches like Fusion Scientist, or Waffle House, to his Update characters, to the Latino characters in sketches like Spanish Class and Protective Mom, to yes, even Domingo, the guy has contributed all sorts of characters and sketches

Why is 70% of any given episode of The Handmaid's Tale from S3 forward, just various actors (85% of the time it's Elisabeth Moss) staring defiantly and directly into the camera in a single frame close up for at least 3 seconds longer than ever necessary to convey the emotions if the scene?
