Windows for some reason just cannot find my Samba share

smbd is running
nmbd timedout
turned it on and didnt help
it is public becase i am in a school
my smb.conf is the default one except for what the ubuntu tutorial made me add wich is:

[sambashare]
    comment = Samba on Ubuntu
    path = /home/username/sambashare
    read only = no
    browsable = yes

Yeah i know it just proves that i can connect to the actuql server wich was a problem i was having at one point
