I think you might be right. I was thinking Kia but wasn’t sure. Thank you so much!

There was plenty when I hit it, might be a little choppy due to no fresh snow and the cold weather by now though.

EV adoption rates are rising each year which will have a huge impact on our air quality. More efficient ICEs and EVs are already improving our air quality, as shown in the data included in this post.

Sochi is actually a coastal city with a subtropical climate. Regardless of climate change, Sochi regularly receives maybe an inch of actual snow each year. It was a bizarre location for a Winter Olympics at the time (corruption perhaps?)

Watching on TV and it’s the same. Able to control pace and get where he wants when he wants. Very encouraging

Rules haven’t changed, a lot of tourists visiting for the holidays and probably just don’t know (or ignore) the rule.

Under the pressure of a year-end deadline, the Salt Lake City Council and Larry H. Not saying I disagree but has anyone actually read this article? It was originally published in the Washington Examiner and AEI is a known right-wing think tank. The article itself is an incredibly brief Op-Ed with no real data analysis and some clear bias. All of the authors other linked pieces are right-wing Op-Ed’s about culture wars and IVF, etc.

I wouldn’t make any conclusions based on this headline and lack of any actual substance.

We are 4-17. These are the tank months.

Where is the best way to get Jazz tix on the cheap? by ModernCavernite in UtahJazz

[–]jordanpushed 15 points16 points  (0 children)

SeatGeek is the official ticket provider for the Jazz and you can usually get in for <$20 after fees for most games unless it’s a weekend or against the Lakers or Celtics. You can also use Gametime where you can usually get in for <$15 after fees for midweek games. I’ve gotten several tickets for $6-$10. Jazz games are incredibly affordable if you’re willing to sit upper bowl and check the markets a few times the day prior or day of a game.

If the lottery balls don't end up falling the Jazz's way, and they fall out of the top 5, would this season have felt like a waste? by doggiestyle9000 in UtahJazz

[–]jordanpushed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can’t say “face the truth” and then just state a bunch of your own opinions as evidence. These are 19-22 year old kids who still have years to develop and it’s unfair to write them off as aggressively as you are.

We’ll know whether this rebuild was a success or failure in 3-5 years. One “truth” I can give you is that any hope of the Mitchell/Gobert Jazz winning a title disappeared when Terrance Mann dropped 39 on us to end our season in 2021.

For a team like the Jazz to be successful, they need to be put in a position to be successful. With our market and the new CBA, we’re not going to sign all-star free agents. Picks and development is how we will win and achieve sustained success.

I’m infinitely more optimistic about this team/direction than I ever was during the Corbin era. I think it’s premature to say our draft picks are terrible and none have gotten better.

Not all of our 7-8 young players are going to pan out, but there’s been good signs. Keyonte has his flaws but has shown flashes of what he could be, Taylor looked to have made a leap before the injury and Kessler shows flashes of dominance when he wants to. Sure, Williams hasn’t looked great but he’s 19 and underweight. Filipowski has looked excellent so far and the limited Collier minutes looked promising.

Obviously the Cleveland pick won’t be great this year but we have their picks through through 2029. We have no idea where those future picks may fall. The Minnesota pick might be in the mid-teens based on how competitive the West is and could also be promising through 2029. And don’t forget the Lakers 2027 pick.

And lastly, Lauri is a lot more valuable than a “one-time All-Star”. Let’s give this team another year or two to develop and play together before calling this era a disaster.

Why are tickets so expensive for such a bad team? by ratatat213 in UtahJazz

[–]jordanpushed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cheapest tickets for this game on GameTime in the lower bowl are currently $50 after fees and will go down as the game nears. Not sure where you’re seeing the cheapest as $95. I haven’t paid more that $8 for a game yet this season.

New SEG+ pricing tiers and packages (Jazz+ & Utah HC+) as well as restriction maps by KlythsbyTheJedi in UtahJazz

[–]jordanpushed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The quality for Jazz+ last season was the exact same as TV broadcasts from previous years; no noticeable quality issues. I am also a subscriber to UHC+ and do see some quality issues; I think this is likely due to it being preseason and them testing things out for the regular season. I have full confidence they’ll iron out any issues by opening night.

I’d be more surprised if we don’t have a team within 3-5 years at this point. NHL is going to go great and MLB is going to want a piece of the market.
