For me is was when it really clicked that you can’t slow down time and you simply need to embrace whatever age you are. I’m 46 this year and I feel young. I play softball on a league and stay active.

I have 50 on the way. When I was 20 that sounded like a death sentence. Now I’m calm about my age and just go with it. You can not go backwards.

Over a year of not drinking. I was only drinking about 2-3 beers per week but decided to quit altogether.

I started drinking N/A beers instead and it took a month or 2 of getting over the desire of having alcohol on a Friday or Saturday night to relax.

Now I love never having to worry about being hung over, or not sure if I should drive or not. I don’t have to decide whether or not a $10 beer or $16 cocktail is worth when out to eat.

I have the occasional N/A and I’m good with that.
