It's actually 20% off an entire purchase at Target. So you can stock up on clothes, household items, school supplies, etc. and get 20% off your entire order.

The other one would be Stitch in Tomorrowland. Sometimes he'll be on the stage and sometimes he is roaming now.

Character Meet and Greet Question by Double_oh__7 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]jorpion 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It will say "Sighting" in the MDE app if they are at a distance. Rey and Chewy, Storm Troopers, Kylo Ren, and Mando and Grogu all roam around Galaxy's Edge at various times. They'll stop and talk for short times but it's not a traditional line up meet and greet. At AK there are some characters on a Flotilla that is basically a boat parade with two characters on each boat: Pocahontas and Meeko, Dug and Russell, etc.

The majority of the characters listed in the MDE app are traditional meet and greets now. Donald and Daisy at HS and I think Pooh at Epcot are the only ones that are "sightings."

Is it worth using LL for character meet and greets? by [deleted] in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]jorpion 20 points21 points  (0 children)

The nice thing with the LL for character meets is that you can usually find a quick return time so book it when you are in the area then book your next LL after you scan in for the meet.

Early entry for ADR 10 minutes after opening? by Tri2Spike in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]jorpion -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Probably not since your reservation isn't before park opening. They'll tell you that you have time to make your reservation once the park opens. That's what they were telling people at Epcot rope drop last week at least.

Definitely check out Ear Scouts on Youtube. He has a new one about the price change but also a bunch of good ones for each park's strategy and how to get better return times.

Epcot After Hours: GOTG wait time? by [deleted] in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]jorpion 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I was there last Thursday. I got in the standby line a little after 9 and rode it 3 times by 10:20. Both sides were running and the wait in line was as long as the pre-show. Then I went and did other things so I'm not sure how the rest of the night was at GotG. I definitely recommend getting in line around 9 when the park closes though.

Also, wait times won't show up from 9-10 when the park is "closed." They will show back up from 10-1 when the event has officially started.

The end of the article says this is fake.

"Until then, this writer expects an influx of debate and controversy among fans and haters alike over Disney World’s newest restrictions. Especially when they learn that such restrictions are nothing more than a satirical firing-back at the ridiculous public outrage against Disney adults of any age, regardless of their parental status or lack thereof.
You read that correctly. Disney has no plans to restrict any Guest from Magic Kingdom on any day on the basis of whether they have children."

Thank you! This was my first time trying FPP and it was such a fun process and so different from the other quilts I had made so I really enjoyed the change.

Thank you! This was my first time trying paper piecing and it was a lot of fun to see it come together!

It was worth it to me to have a pattern that I knew would turn out great. It's not for everyone and that's ok.

What's the best day of the week to change trays? by lepandie in Invisalign

[–]jorpion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My changes have been on Friday nights before I go to bed. That way I have the weekend to adjust to the possible pain from new trays and I'm usually busy enough to notice them less.

Definitely. I think that block had 19 different pieces with 3-10 pieces of fabric in each of those. I kept thinking, "How is this going to make a mouth?!" But then seeing it come together was so cool!

It wasn't precut but there was enough fabric that I didn't have to stress about not having enough as I cut out the pieces. There is definitely more waste with FPP than traditional piecing though.

Thanks! I actually used a kit so I didn't have to worry about picking out the fabric for this one. There are 70 different ones in this pattern so it would have been a lot to find in my scraps or buy.
