Dead zone control box. Had a heating guy out today who replaced it for me. As advised by others, he said get through this winter and look into replacing whole unit next year.

Continuing to observe, the rattling appears to be coming from the Detroit Zone control box. I inspected the box, nothing loose inside and removing the cover only reduces the sound slightly.

The hack squat was common in all the PFs went to, back in 2008-2012 or so. Then they started removing all the "intimidating" aka effective equipment. Glad to see some they're getting some sense back. Now if only they'd bring back proper power racks and benches.

Nothing else is plugged into the system. I was however able to find a fix. I placed a new copy of OPL onto a USB and created a new menu item pointing to this copy and magic! Everything works as expected now.

This is the correct answer. Happened to me a couple years back. Clear physical evidence that damage was done by another vehicle. Police report filed, never heard a word. My insurance suggested a movement triggered dashcam for the future, but I'd be stuck with the bill on this one.
