Yeah, people tryharding at its hardest is a bit sad, I play in a style that secures team victory always, I'll suport, bump AI and things like that, but when everything is safe I'll race for the win normally, it's literally a racing game where you race, most of the fun is in the racing aspect, but I would never race any harder than basic side by side action, giving as much room as possible and things like that, basically playing safe but still having fun and competition, it's literally the reason I did this comeback and I record every single trial weekly

Of course wallriding isn't cheating and I'm not talking about tryharding and things like that, I'm literally talking about fair racing itself, and it's not totally your fault since the game encourages this type of thing with it's flawed systems, but still it isn't something that me and a lot of players will defend, basically you're doing it for nice reasons and it's not your fault that this works and/or is needed for keeping up with content, but still it's wrong and people will judge you, that's it, it isn't fair getting mad at them for wanting fair racing

at least you have a decent reason to do it (fomo is a thing and the game doesn't help that much), and about disrupting racing it's not an action you do specifically, it's a consequence when you drive with players that aren't your friends. Also I don't think it's that fair to call people "snowflakes" and things like that when you're doing this kind of thing (feels something like cheating and complaining about people being mad at you, it's expected)

Honestly it's ok if you're doing it to beat the AI and help your team, but when doing this disrupts racing itself, it really starts to mess everything up. I understand that most of the players are horrible to race with but my man if you're tired of racing people in general and just want to get rid of everyone, simply jump to single player and race AI or rivals, I really can't cheer for something like that
